Haha feel so smart. Discovered a way to post the photos even though we exceeded the limit imposed by shutterfly.
www.znapshorts.shutterfly.com
It should work and show 400 odd photos. =)

Hmm just in case everyone starts asking what happened to steph's bag. Thank God it was found by the airline. Long story about the tiring process of getting it sent to Paris, but yeah, we got it back after 4 days. Hopefully they'll compensate them for her emotional stress. Heh heh.
Some of the other photos are stuck in the other cameras (no photos of Phantom of the Opera cause indoor photography's forbidden, we only took outside Her Majesty's Theatre), so I'm just waiting to meet up with all of them when Yam returns from UK this month. Lucky lass toured Dublin, Ireland with her sister over the weekend. And we're going to Ding Tai Fung for dim sum! Argh, burning my pocket again, but I'll just scrimp somewhere else.

We've finally reached Nice, France yesterday morning. Quite an eventful ride from Prague to Nice. Firstly, we had our last camp-over at the Prague airport. (We did that also in London Stansted cuz it was less safe to take a public transport to the airport early in the morning to catch at 7-ish flight) Anyhow the ride via SkyEurope to Nice was pleasant. But the shock came when Steph lost her backpack. We're still unsure how it got lost when we checked all of it together and the bags were tagged. Maybe the tag fell off or something, or got up the cargo for another flight. So now we're just praying and waiting for some miracle to happen. All the reports for lost baggage has been made and we'll just have to make do with living out of less backpacks. Poor Steph lost all her gifts she bought at Prague and all. But she's coping alright.
We also met another Singaporean called Gerald at the hostel in Nice and decided to spend half a day at Monaco, Monte Carlo yesterday. Apart from the flashy cars (Yan, you'll love to see how many types of Bently, Porsches, Ferraris and what-have-you-not. I took one picture of it for you) there isn't much to do at Monte Carlo cuz it's all high end stuff. Even shoping is like luxury brands. But they've got the most yatches docked at a quay (even more than Raffles Quay) We even tried to pop into the Monte Carlo casino, but they required 10Euros entrance fee, so we ended up just tipping the lady for keeping our bags. Tell you more about the haughty bag lady. Irritating. I wasn't even interested in entering anyway. It was their idea. So out of place in such posh regions.
Alrite for now, everyone's queuing for the internet. Ciao!

Finally managed to use some internet at Dresden. Weird how the Germans are wired totally different from the rest of the world. Even their keyboards are different and we´ve got a really hard time trying to type anything. But we should be taking a short tour around the River Elbe in Dresden today.
So far the tour has been fantastic. Still quite safe and comfortable cuz we´ve been bunking in with people we know. So Dresden is our first venture into something new and unknown. Even finding this damn place took us 30 mins. Quite quiet neighbourhood that´s 20 mins away from city centre. So we don´t intend to go out late like we could in London, even though the sun sets really late during summer.
England was lovely. Mom, you´ll like Hampton Court Palace gardens. Easily take up a whole day just viewing and resting at the gardens. Dad, there´s even a little vineyard found in the court palace. Took a picture of it but we can´t upload cuz we´ve using a very very ancient computer here that can´t read my friend´s camera. But this was lovely. Windsor castle was just as magnificient, although we couldn´t get into the State Apartments for some reason on that day. We suppose it´s cuz the Queen might be resting at her favourite summer house that weekend.
Cambridge is by far my favourite town. Lovely and quaint with much history behind it.All the buildings and colleges are magnificent. So if anyone wants to study in UK, either Cambridge or Oxford (they say that Cambridge is even smaller than Oxford!) All the college towns are usually littered with people cycling around town. In fact, the whole town could be covered by foot, which we did. We also did punting. Some river ride we took where the guide uses a stick to push the little square boat so that it glides along the River Cam. Very enjoyable and we got to see the other views of the colleges and their bridges. Kings College is the most magnificent college there is. Couldn´t enter cuz exam period. And we didn´t do other colleges cuz had to pay some, and we figured that since it´s exam time even going in would mean closed entrance to much of the college grounds. But we still took a free entrance to Downing College (one of those colleges outside of the Cambridge University). I just lurrrvveee this place. Can´t imagine being able to study and graduate here (like Steve Riisnaes and Hannah whom we met at Dave´s home). I´ll cry the day I graduate.
Alritey, need to go now. We´re going to hop downtown in Dresden for breakfast cuz we ran out of sandwiches we bought (we hungry pigs ate all our food on our way here yesterday) Maybe the next time we´ll get internet access is in Prague. But we´re not sure whether we can upload pictures. We snapped like mad (esp me and Steph).
Love you guys!
*liang, i managed to check my email this morning. thanks a lot anyway. nothing impt inside so far.
